Following last year's session on the Kansas City workshop, this presentation reports on Year One implementation of Kids Feeding Kids. at Bridging Culinary in New Kent.Students integrated service-learning and community outreach into existing brigade operations through scalable single-batch production. The project ran alongside our regular catering and take out operations but the program is purposefully designed to be integrated into regular FCS programs as well.I'll share the operational framework, student outcomes, challenges encountered, and lessons learned from embedding a service program within a working high school kitchen. Practical focus on what worked, what didn't, and what's next.
